Family: Movie Night

19 Mar

I can’t believe how fast our spring break went by.  We had fun and the weather was awesome.  Tonight is family movie night.  We are watching The Spy Next Door.  We had pizza for dinner and the rainbow cupcakes that we made earlier today (recipe coming soon.)

Have a great weekend!

Family: Movie Night

12 Mar

It’s Friday so that means another family movie night. Where did the week go? Today was our last day before a week of spring break, so the girls are super excited for movie night.

Good times tonight!

Tonight we are watching Megamind.  On the menu, one of the girl’s favorites…chicken plops and cheesy broccoli rice.  And for desert, vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.

Family: Movie Night

5 Mar
Tonight was family movie night.  The girls and I started off the night by making one of our family’s favorite meals.
We made pitas from scratch.
Once the pitas were ready we made stuffed them with herbed cream cheese.
The girls also helped me prepare the bean salad.  They peeled the cucumbers and taste tested the cherry tomatoes for quality purposes…lol….
Apparently I worked Abby so hard that she fell asleep on the job standing up.  Good thing her twin, Zoey was there to support her!

We spread our blanket out on the living room floor and enjoyed our
movie of the night.
After the girls finished their dinner, I made Cinnamon Kettle Corn.
It was a great movie night and mommy got got to enjoy
quality time with my babies.

Family: Basketball Game

19 Feb
This was our last game of the season.  We played against the Bremond Tigers.  Abby decided she wanted to play even though she is recovering from pneumonia.
We won our game 20 to 13.  Go Cougars!

Family: School Valentine parties

12 Feb
The girls celebrated Valentine’s day with school parties today.  Hailey’s class had a pizza party and ice cream floats.  Abby and Zoey’s class had an ice cream sundae party.  They received lots of Valentines and lots of candy.  They came home on a big sugar rush that continued well into the night.  Oh, the joy of candy stuffing Valentine’s day!

Family: Woo hoo! We made the honor roll!

30 Nov

I am just so proud of my girls that I am bursting!  All three of my girls have made the honor roll again for this 6 weeks.  Hailey made the A honor roll.  Abby and Zoey made the A/B honor roll.  All three of them were listed in our local paper.

Way to go girls!

Family: Troy’s Birthday

22 Nov

In my effort to catch up, here are some pictures from Troy’s birthday.  The girls and I made him his favorite foods for dinner, corned beef and cabbage with baby potatoes.  This year, we didn’t make him a cake but got him a cake with cupcakes in a Halloween theme.

Happy Birthday honey!!
